Dr. Rana completed his undergraduate degree at the University of Windsor in Ontario, Canada. He graduated from medical school at Wayne State University with Honors with High Distinction and was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. After medical school, Dr. Rana completed an internship at St. John Hospital and Medical Center and finished his ophthalmology residency at Kresge Eye Institute in the heart of Detroit, Michigan.

Dr. Rana is a comprehensive ophthalmologist with an emphasis on refractive cataract surgery. Additional areas of interest and expertise include medical retina, ophthalmic lasers and oculoplastics. Dr. Rana stays up-to-date on the latest developments and research in ophthalmology to provide the most advanced and thoughtful care for his patients.

Outside of the office, Dr. Rana enjoys playing guitar, exercising and spending time with his family and dogs. After enduring many Canadian and Michigan winters, he is excited to call the Treasure Coast his home!
